Job Title: Customer Technical Support – EV Chargers
Department: Customer Support / Service
Reports To: Manager – Service Operations
Job Summary: We are looking for a Customer Technical Support Specialist for EV Chargers who will be the first point of contact for end customers. The role requires strong technical expertise, customer-handling ability, and coordination skills with internal teams, dealers, and external stakeholders like RWAs and DISCOM authorities. The position is a mix of technical consulting, solution providing, and service support, ensuring smooth installation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Act as the front face to end customers, handling all technical queries related to chargers, installations, and support.
Provide immediate, solution-oriented consultation to customers based on their needs.
Liaise with RWAs and DISCOM authorities to address queries related to approvals, product compliance, and installation safety.
Coordinate with Sales & Service teams at AD & Powerol Dealerships, as well as AO / RO / ZO levels.
Monitor DMS (Dealer Management System) for service calls and coordinate with field teams for activation of services (site surveys, installation, commissioning).
Strengthen service systems and processes at Powerol dealerships.
Guide, support, and train dealership sales teams and customers on charger installation processes and site groundwork requirements.
Provide technical support to Powerol field teams for site readiness and installations.
Support and guide customers in obtaining DISCOM / society approvals for charger installations.
Candidate Profile
Education: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience: 3–7 years in technical support / service / installation of EV chargers, power electronics, or electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety, installation standards, and regulatory approvals.
Excellent customer handling and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders (customers, dealers, internal teams, authorities).
Proficiency in DMS, CRM tools, and service monitoring systems preferred.
