Roles and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage operations and maintenance activities at the LPG, Propane, and other gas bulk terminal or storage facilities.
Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, and safety standards for hazardous installations.
Monitor plant performance and ensure smooth process operations with minimal downtime.
Supervise the testing procedures, operation, and maintenance of LPG and Propane systems.
Lead site teams, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
Coordinate with internal departments, external agencies, and regulatory bodies as required.
Maintain documentation of all operational activities, testing, and compliance reports.
Identify and implement improvements in process safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure readiness for audits, inspections, and emergency responses.
Drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement among all site staff.
Qualifications:
A Degree in Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Technology with 5 years of experience in process, operations, or maintenance in chemical industries, OR
A Master’s degree in Chemistry or a Degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology with 5 years of experience in the same fields.
Minimum 65% marks in the qualifying exam.
10 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of gas bulk terminals and/or storage facilities.
Sound knowledge of hazardous installations, testing procedures, and regulatory compliance in LPG and Propane facilities.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations with calm and effective decision-making.
