Job Description – Wheels Engineer / Executive Position: Wheels Engineer / Executive (Manufacturing / Quality / Design) Location: [Company Location] Department: Production / Quality / Design Reports To: Plant Manager / Production Head Key Responsibilities: Wheels (alloy / steel rims / tyres) ke production process ko plan aur execute karna. Raw materials (steel, aluminium, rubber) ki quality check karna. CNC machines, casting, forging, painting, and finishing processes handle karna. Design team ke saath milkar nayi wheel designs develop karna (CAD/CAE software use karke). Quality standards (ISO/TS 16949, IATF, BIS standards) ko maintain karna. Defects analysis aur root cause find karke corrective actions lena. Vendors aur suppliers ke saath coordination karna. Production reports prepare karna aur management ko submit karna. Plant ke andar safety protocols follow karna. --- Requirements: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering. 1–5 years ka experience in automotive wheel manufacturing / automotive parts. Knowledge of manufacturing processes – casting, forging, machining, balancing, coating. Strong knowledge of quality tools (5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, PPAP, SPC, FMEA). Good communication & teamwork skills. --- Preferred Skills: Experience with alloy wheel / steel wheel production. Hands-on knowledge of CNC / PLC-based machines. Familiar with automobile OEM requirements (Tata, Maruti, Mahindra, etc.).
