Job Description


We are looking for a store manager in a retail professional who oversees the daily operations of a store to drive sales, manage staff, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. They act as a "mini-CEO" of the store, balancing the financial performance and brand image.  Key roles and responsibilities Staff and team leadership Recruitment and training: Hiring, onboarding, and training new employees to ensure they meet company standards and have strong product knowledge. Scheduling and supervision: Creating work schedules, assigning daily tasks, and managing staff performance to maximize productivity and ensure adequate coverage. Motivation and performance management: Inspiring and coaching the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets. This includes conducting performance reviews and resolving employee conflicts. Positive work environment: Fostering a healthy, positive, and collaborative culture that promotes teamwork and high morale.  Financial performance and sales Sales strategy: Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, grow profitability, and achieve revenue goals. Budgeting and expense control: Managing the store's budget, monitoring operating costs, and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement. Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, to higher management. Promotions and marketing: Collaborating with marketing teams to organize in-store promotions, events, and displays.  Operational management Daily operations: Overseeing all daily procedures, including opening and closing tasks, cash handling, and register reconciliation. Inventory control: Monitoring stock levels, receiving shipments, and managing product placement to prevent stockouts and minimize losses from theft or damage. Visual merchandising: Ensuring the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing according to brand guidelines and seasonal themes. Compliance and safety: Ensuring all store operations adhere to company policies, as well as relevant health, safety, and legal regulations.  Customer experience and relations Service excellence: Setting and enforcing high standards for customer service and training staff to provide an exceptional shopping experience. Complaint resolution: Handling complex customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and effective manner. Customer engagement: Analyzing customer trends and purchasing behavior to improve sales strategies and build customer loyalty.  Essential skills for a store manager Leadership: The ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and vendors. Problem-solving: The capacity to make quick and confident decisions and resolve issues efficiently. Organizational skills: The ability to multitask and manage time effectively to handle all operational duties. Commercial awareness: Strong business acumen to manage budgets, analyze reports, and understand market trends. Tech proficiency: Familiarity with retail management software, such as point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management tools
