Job Description – Scrum Master (MedTech Domain) Position: Scrum Master Domain: Medical Technology (MedTech) Experience: 8+ years in Software Product Development (3+ years as Scrum Master) Educational QualificationB.E / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech in Computer Science or related discipline. Experience & Skill Set8+ years of overall experience in software product development. 3+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master applying Agile/Scrum practices. Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software engineering processes. Exposure to SAFe scaling framework is an advantage. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent preferred. Proficiency in Agile/Lean project management practices. Hands-on experience with methods, tools, and techniques such as estimation, risk analysis, data interpretation, RCA, and metrics tracking. Experience working with multi-site global teams. Strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects effectively. Strong analytical, conceptual, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Assertive, proactive, and open to collaboration across teams and organizations. Previous technical background in software development is an added advantage. Exposure to medical domain processes and practices will be an added advantage. Job Profile & Responsibilities As a Scrum Master, you will: Manage and support Scrum Teams, ensuring timely delivery of features within scope, budget, and quality to achieve customer satisfaction. Ensure teams follow defined software development processes and adhere to all relevant process steps. Guide and facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives, stand-ups) to consistently meet sprint goals. Protect the team from distractions, impediments, and conflicts to maintain focus on backlog and project timelines. Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders for alignment on priorities and deliverables. Monitor and control project and team metrics to meet organizational and product goals. Identify and manage project risks proactively with mitigation strategies. Drive and contribute to organizational and Agile Release Train (ART) improvements. Coach, mentor, and guide the team in adopting Agile/Lean practices, promoting continuous improvement and self-organization. Ensure that sprint deliverables comply with quality standards and regulatory guidelines relevant to the MedTech domain.
