Job Description: SAP TM/EM IT Solution Owner Department: IT – Logistics Solutions Role Type: Individual Contributor / Solution Owner Reports To: Global IT Manager – Logistics Solutions About the Role SKF has globally deployed SAP TM/EM, supporting diverse processes and transport modes. As the SAP TM/EM IT Solution Owner, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP TM/EM within the logistics domain. You will be responsible for ensuring a stable, reliable, and future-ready platform that enables seamless logistics operations. Your deep expertise in SAP TM/EM and logistics processes will add significant value to our business. Key Responsibilities Develop and own the long-term SAP TM/EM solution roadmap, aligning with business needs and SAP’s product roadmap. Oversee the full application lifecycle: development, maintenance, upgrades, and improvements. Ensure high performance, stability, and compliance with IT standards and policies. Monitor application performance and implement enhancements proactively. Collaborate with global business process experts, SAP TM/EM specialists, and solution architects to analyze requirements and define technical solutions. Manage the backlog of IDEAs/DEMANDs and provide clear stakeholder communication. Align business requirements with system capabilities, balancing standardization with innovation. Drive solution delivery according to agreed release plans and manage integrations with other applications and ERP systems. Engage in major incident management (P1s and critical P2s) to ensure quick resolution and business continuity. Your Day-to-Day Work Recommend and implement new configurations, upgrades, and improvements. Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to deliver robust solutions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP TM/EM and related technologies. Safeguard stability and reliability of logistics IT solutions. Deep knowledge of Logistics processes: transportation, cross-docking, forwarder integration. Proven experience driving application efficiency, stability, and integration with ERP systems. Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. University degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)Understanding of logistics impact on sales, purchasing, and finance processes. Experience with SAP EWM and integration with SAP TM for Advanced Shipping and Receiving (ASR) solutions. Prior exposure to cloud-based logistics solutions and cross-functional business processes.
