Job Description – Requirements Engineer
Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Requirements Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in requirements engineering within the Rail or Aerospace domain and will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical execution, ensuring high-quality requirement definitions and alignment with Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Agile teams to manage and refine requirements.
Conduct end-to-end requirements engineering and development activities.
Perform requirements management using industry-standard tools such as Polarian (DOORS experience is an added advantage).
Refine business requirements into technical specifications for effective implementation.
Ensure traceability, compliance, and alignment of requirements with project goals.
Provide guidance and clarity to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Support stakeholder discussions, negotiations, and alignment on scope and deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field (or relevant work experience with additional certifications).
Experience:
5–8 years of professional experience, with at least 4+ years in Rail or Aerospace domain.
Proven track record in requirements engineering and management.
Strong experience with requirements management tools (Polarian; DOORS is a plus).
Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project execution.
Attention to detail with a structured, systematic approach to work.
