Position Title: Reliability Engineer
Reports To: RDC Manager ISEA
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Location: Pune
Purpose of the Role
To provide technical support for the development of GRC and execute reliability services-related projects across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver profitable technical, predictive, and proactive maintenance services to strategic customers, meeting or exceeding agreed KPIs.
Perform remote monitoring, vibration analysis, and prepare periodic reports for customers across multiple industrial segments within defined timelines.
Create and maintain client databases and hierarchies, ensuring accurate thresholds and attributes.
Accurately record and track time utilization in the system in a timely manner.
Collaborate extensively with Business Units, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Minimum 7 years’ industry experience in Predictive/Proactive Maintenance Services, Asset Management, Condition Monitoring, or Reliability Services.
Prior shop-floor experience in Maintenance preferred, with exposure to:
Visual Inspection
Lubrication Practices
Vibration Analysis
Basic Electrical knowledge across industrial applications.
Strong knowledge of industrial rotating equipment and predictive maintenance technologies.
Proficiency in MS Office and web-based applications (no programming required).
Experience in training delivery is an advantage.
Ability to work independently with complete ownership.
Exposure to multi-cultural, cross-functional environments; willingness to travel when required.
Familiarity with modern analytical tools for diagnostics in condition monitoring.
Strong interpersonal skills, professional presentation, and excellent communication in English (written & verbal).
Experience with cloud-based/remote monitoring and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft O365) preferred.
Knowledge of SKF products & services is desirable.
Certifications: ISO or ASNT Level III (Vibration Analysis) or higher.
