Purpose of the Role The Reliability Engineer will provide technical support for the development of GRC and execute reliability services projects globally. The role focuses on predictive and proactive maintenance to improve customer performance and ensure operational reliability.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver profitable technical, predictive, and proactive maintenance services to strategic customers, ensuring achievement of agreed KPIs.
Carry out remote monitoring, vibration analysis, and prepare periodic reports for customers across multiple segments within defined timelines.
Create and maintain client databases and hierarchies, including thresholds and attributes.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of time utilization in the system.
Collaborate with internal business units and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of projects.
Skills and Knowledge RequirementsMinimum 7 years of industry experience in Predictive and Proactive Maintenance, Asset Management, Condition Monitoring, or Reliability Services.
Prior shop-floor experience in maintenance preferred, with exposure to visual inspection, lubrication practices, vibration analysis, and basic electrical knowledge across industrial segments.
Strong understanding of industrial rotating equipment and predictive maintenance technologies.
Proficiency in MS Office and web-based applications (no programming required).
Experience in training delivery will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently with complete ownership and in a self-supervising environment.
Exposure to multi-cultural, cross-functional environments, with willingness to travel when required.
Comfortable using modern analytical tools for diagnostics in condition monitoring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).
Added advantages:
Experience with cloud-based/remote monitoring.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Microsoft O365.
Knowledge of SKF products and services.
ISO or ASNT Level III (or higher) Certification in Vibration Analysis.
