Job Description


Key Responsibilities Sales & Lead Generation: Acquire new customers for products such as current and savings accounts (CASA), credit cards, and fixed deposits.  Customer Acquisition: Generate leads through various methods including market mapping, branch walk-ins, referrals, e-mailing, and direct marketing within their assigned catchment areas.  Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to facilitate renewals and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling other financial products.  Product Promotion: Educate customers about HDFC's product offerings and assist them with their needs by clearly explaining product features and benefits.  Customer Service: Deliver high-quality customer service, handle complaints, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and process requests.  Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed assigned business and productivity targets for all financial products.  Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all banking regulations, including KYC (Know Your Customer) norms, and maintain high standards for the quality of business sourced.  Market & Competition Awareness: Stay informed about market trends, competition, and HDFC's own products to effectively position them with customers.  Qualifications & Skills Education: A graduate degree is typically required, though experience can also be a factor.  Experience: Open to both freshers and experienced candidates with a background in sales.  Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English are necessary for interacting with customers and colleagues.  Field Work: The role often involves extensive field work within the allocated geographical area.  Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local area, including local market dynamics, is often beneficial.  Benefits Performance Incentives: Employees can earn unlimited incentives based on their performance.  Statutory Benefits: Eligibility for Provident Fund (PF) and Gratuity in line with statutory requirements.  Other Perks: Benefits like medical claim support and paid leaves may be provided.
