Job Description
Job Description – Customer Technical Support (EV Chargers / Power Solutions)
Job Purpose: To act as the primary technical interface with customers, providing guidance, support, and solutions related to EV chargers and installation processes. The role requires close coordination with internal teams, dealers, RWAs, and DISCOMs to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Technical Support
Act as the first point of contact for customers on all technical queries related to chargers and installations.
Provide immediate consultancy-based solutions based on customer needs.
Guide customers on site readiness, approvals, and safety compliance.
Coordination with Stakeholders
Liaise with RWAs and DISCOMs for product approvals and installation safety requirements.
Coordinate with Sales & Service teams at dealerships, area offices (AO), regional offices (RO), and zonal offices (ZO).
Support Powerol dealers in strengthening service systems and processes.
Process & Service Management
Monitor DMS for service calls and coordinate with field teams for timely site surveys, installations, and commissioning.
Ensure smooth activation of services and adherence to processes.
Training & Knowledge Sharing
Educate and guide dealer sales teams and customers on charger installation processes and site groundwork.
Provide technical support to field teams for on-ground execution.
Approval Support
Assist customers in obtaining required approvals from DISCOMs and societies for installations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering.
3–7 years of experience in customer technical support, preferably in EV chargers, power solutions, or similar domains.
Strong knowledge of installation processes, safety standards, and DISCOM/RWA approval procedures.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, service, and dealer teams.
