Job Description – Principal Solution Architect (IT Infrastructure & Cloud Transformation)Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly experienced Principal Solution Architect to lead large-scale IT infrastructure, cloud transformation, and data center automation projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in server, storage, network architecture, virtualization, and cloud technologies, with proven experience in managing complex, multi-vendor environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead overall solution architecture across all solution tracks under DC IT Automation for IaaS and PaaS deliveries.
Gather business requirements and develop a comprehensive centralized information systems architecture, ensuring continuous updates.
Design solutions for data migration to target infrastructure and oversee the implementation of cloud transformation architectures.
Coordinate solution designs with vendors, agencies, and multi-vendor SI teams for seamless integration.
Manage the transition from as-is technology architecture to to-be private and hybrid cloud architecture.
Collaborate with information security teams to identify and mitigate risks in deployed cloud-native architectures.
Drive automation initiatives for large-scale customer operations.
Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for cloud transformation solutions.
QualificationsBE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MSc/MCA or equivalent.
Post-graduation in technology preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in program management tools.
ExperienceMinimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture with focus on server, storage, network, virtualization, SDDC, and cloud.
Proven track record as Principal Solution Architect for at least one large-scale IT infrastructure project (user base > 10,000 or value > INR 100 crores).
Experience designing large-scale IT infrastructure using OpenStack or CloudStack.
Proficient in DC IT Infrastructure and Platforms Automation, automation tools, and scripting.
