Job Description: Oracle Finance Functional Consultant Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Experience: 10+ years Qualification: B.Com/M.Com/MBA (Finance) / Chartered Accountant (CA) / Public Policy or Management Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to lead financial process improvements and system implementations within Oracle Financials. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AP, AR, GL, budgeting, grants management, fund accounting, and government compliance, along with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed analysis of Oracle Finance modules to align with organizational and regulatory requirements. Perform GAP analysis, identify inefficiencies, and design process improvements. Lead process mapping and implementation strategies for AP, AR, and GL modules. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Ensure compliance with government financial regulations and update processes as per new mandates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance efficiency. Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring optimal system utilization. Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and user guides. Implement strong checks and controls to ensure adherence to policies and standards. Stay updated with Oracle Finance best practices and integrate them into business operations. Required Qualifications & Skills 10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Financials modules. Strong expertise in AP, AR, GL, and financial systems implementation. Proven ability in GAP analysis and process improvement. Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting, grants management, fund accounting, and compliance. Experience in government financial regulations and treasury operations (PMU/Government projects preferred). Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging with stakeholders.
