Production Supervisor – Motor Manufacturing Location: Bathinda, Punjab, India Industry: Electric Motor Manufacturing Experience Required: Minimum 3 years (Motor manufacturing, preferably Faridabad-based experience) Qualification: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field Role Overview We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in our motor manufacturing unit in Bathinda. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in motor production, preferably gained in the Faridabad motor industry cluster, and be skilled in testing motor quality to ensure all finished products meet performance and reliability standards. Key Responsibilities Production Management Supervise daily motor manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met. Allocate tasks, monitor workforce efficiency, and optimize use of resources. Coordinate with procurement and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow. Quality Assurance Perform in-process and final motor testing (performance, load tests, insulation resistance, etc.). Identify defects, troubleshoot root causes, and ensure corrective actions. Maintain detailed quality inspection and testing reports for compliance. Team Supervision Lead and guide shop floor staff to achieve production targets. Train team members on safety standards, SOPs, and testing procedures. Maintain discipline, safety, and productivity across shifts. Process Improvement Suggest and implement process changes to improve production efficiency. Minimize rework, wastage, and downtime through effective planning. Support the adoption of modern manufacturing practices and tools. Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of motor winding, assembly, and testing procedures. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical testing instruments for motors. Hands-on supervisory experience in motor manufacturing plants (Faridabad experience preferred). Ability to lead a production team effectively and maintain quality standards. Problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills. Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in motor manufacturing, preferably in Faridabad motor units. Proven expertise in both production management and quality testing of motors.
