Job Description – Manager / Senior Manager – Indirect Procurement Centralization
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager – Indirect Procurement Centralization to lead the centralization of procurement functions across Mahindra Group companies. This role is critical in driving efficiency, optimizing spend, and ensuring compliance in procurement processes by collaborating with senior leadership, functional leaders, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have a strong consulting background with hands-on procurement experience, expertise in spend analysis, process streamlining, policy enforcement, change management, and communication strategies. You will play a key role in leading the adoption and implementation of centralized procurement practices across the group.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Centralization: Lead initiatives to centralize indirect procurement across group companies, standardize processes, and unlock cost-saving opportunities while ensuring compliance.
Spend Cube Development: Support the creation of a comprehensive spend cube covering all indirect spend categories and entities.
Spend Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex spend data to identify centralization opportunities, cost optimization, and improved procurement practices.
Process & Policy Management: Drive adherence to procurement policies and processes; recommend and implement enhancements as needed.
Training & Change Management: Develop training modules, lead workshops, and manage communication efforts to ensure smooth adoption of the centralized procurement function.
Reporting & Analytics: Track and report procurement KPIs, savings, and centralization progress through dashboards and regular updates.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align goals and ensure buy-in.
Presentation & Insights: Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related fields.
8–15 years of relevant experience in procurement, consulting, or supply chain transformation, preferably with exposure to indirect categories.
Proven experience in procurement centralization, process design, and spend analytics.
Strong background in consulting or strategic transformation projects is highly desirable.
Expertise in data analysis, procurement tools, and digital platforms.
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Strong change management and training facilitation capabilities.
Ability to influence leadership and drive alignment across diverse business units.
