Job Description:– Key Account Manager (OEM & MRO/Wind Customers) Department: Sales / Business Development Purpose of the Role:-To develop a deep understanding of the region, market, and customers in the assigned territory. To drive business development with OEMs (RM OEM & MRO/Wind customers) by analyzing business potential, customer growth plans, competition landscape, and defining strategies to gain new markets while securing existing business. Key Responsibilities:- Align and achieve sales growth targets in line with Sector / GKAM strategy. Meet and exceed direct sales targets for assigned customers. Manage and grow Key Accounts within the direct business portfolio. Aggressively penetrate the market to develop new customer accounts. Identify new product opportunities / business areas with customers in collaboration with technical and product teams. Review and interpret customer inquiries, understand specifications, evaluate product competitiveness, and coordinate with technical teams to propose suitable solutions. Ensure timely submission of offers / proposals to customers. Drive timely collection of receivables, monitor DSO, and manage post-sales activities. Collaborate with Customer Services teams to ensure timely deliveries as per customer agreements. Prepare and submit monthly sales and collection activity reports to reporting manager / HQ. Actively participate in Tech Days at customer sites to showcase solutions and strengthen customer relationships. Continuously improve customer service levels for assigned accounts. Desired Candidate Profile Education: Engineering Graduate (Mechanical Engineering preferred). Experience: 5–15 years of experience in Sales / Business Development. Proven experience in handling large OEM customers. Strong business acumen, customer relationship management, and negotiation skills. Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (technical, product, and service teams). Key Skills & Competencies:- Strong knowledge of OEM & MRO/Wind sector dynamics. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic account management and customer engagement. Analytical ability for business potential assessment and competitive analysis. Proactive, target-driven, and self-motivated.
