Job Description – Technical Support Engineer (EV Domain)
Role Overview:- We are looking for a skilled Technical Support Engineer with expertise in Electric Vehicles (EVs) to provide advanced dealer support, conduct technical training, and ensure smooth operations across our dealer network. This role will focus on troubleshooting, telematics data analysis, and enabling continuous product and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:-Provide remote technical assistance to dealers for unresolved or complex troubleshooting cases.
Conduct on-site visits for advanced issue resolution and hands-on training of dealer teams.
Perform failure root cause analysis (RCA) and share insights with upstream engineering/product teams for improvements.
Enhance technical capabilities of dealer personnel through training and knowledge-sharing.
Carry out dealership audits on technical aspects to ensure compliance with service standards.
Support smooth new EV product launches from a technical assistance standpoint.
Analyze telematics data and manage maintenance cases through the telematics portal.
Apply expertise in battery diagnostics and EV systems for effective troubleshooting.
Diagnose and resolve issues based on telematics-driven insights.
Skills & Competencies:-Strong knowledge of EV systems, battery technology, and diagnostics.
Hands-on experience with telematics data analysis and portals.
Expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Ability to conduct technical audits and training programs.
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealer interaction.
Qualifications:-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Automotive Engineering (or related field).
4–8 years of relevant experience in EV technical support, diagnostics, or product service engineering.
Exposure to dealer technical support and EV product launch processes preferred.
Knowledge of battery management systems (BMS) and EV powertrain systems is an added advantage.
