Job Description
Job Title: Dealer Development Manager
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Monitor and review Dealer Health Index on a monthly basis covering market share, financial health, competition insights, sales productivity, and coverage data.
Create and track network blueprints for FD, ensuring adherence to primary and secondary network expansion plans.
Develop, implement, and review strategies for Weak District Development (Low Share Markets - LSM) to enhance penetration and growth.
Provide capability-building support to underperforming dealerships by identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
Drive Dealer Satisfaction Surveys, profitability programs, and initiatives to reduce dealer operating costs.
Conduct regular visits and support interactions with key dealerships to strengthen engagement and performance.
Monitor and track the performance of franchisees upgraded to dealerships, ensuring achievement of target volumes and market share.
Evaluate and review new dealer performance in collaboration with area managers during monthly meetings.
Conduct field-level business analysis (Win-Loss studies, SFA, VLPM, NPC categorization) and provide insights to regional offices and territory managers for informed decision-making.
Lead innovation projects such as Mass Customization, Solution Selling, and Flagship Store development.
Drive creation of Brand Experience Centres to enhance customer engagement and experiential selling.
Experience 8–12 years of experience in Dealer Development, Sales, or Channel Management, preferably in the Automobile/FMCG/Consumer Durable sectors.
Qualifications MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
Graduate in Engineering/Commerce/Business Management preferred.
