Position: Export Sales Manager – Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment
Purpose of the Role Drive international sales of Trucks, Buses, and Construction Equipment by developing effective export market strategies, building strong channel partnerships, ensuring smooth export operations, and achieving business targets across identified overseas markets.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Manage and grow sales of Trucks, Buses, and Construction Equipment in targeted overseas markets.
Develop and implement sales strategies for export markets.
Lead market entry strategies for new geographies and support expansion initiatives.
Ensure achievement of export sales targets and business plans.
Product Launch & Market Penetration Work with international operations (IO) field teams to ensure successful product launches.
Coordinate on orders execution, product availability, and technical documentation.
Support in market analysis and devising strategies for new opportunities.
Customer & Channel Engagement Conduct visits with prospective channel partners and dealers.
Organize and participate in dealer meets, trade fairs, and international exhibitions to enhance market visibility.
Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas distributors and customers.
Export Operations Oversee the end-to-end export process, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth execution.
Coordinate with internal HODs and teams for production, logistics, and documentation.
Liaise with shipping companies and logistics partners for timely deliveries.
Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Marketing, or Engineering (MBA preferred).
5–10 years’ experience in export sales/ international business development in automotive, commercial vehicles, or heavy equipment industry.
Strong knowledge of export processes, documentation, and international trade compliance.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in overseas markets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong market analysis and strategy development capabilities.
Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.
Willingness to travel internationally as per business requirements.
