Job Title: Channel QPI Engineer – Quality & Process Improvement
Level: 4B (5B / 5A for internal candidates)
Education: Diploma / B.E. – Mechanical or Production
Experience: 5–8 years
Purpose of the RoleEnsure defect-free supplies to customers by improving, stabilizing, and strengthening manufacturing processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrengthen detection systems & stabilize generation processes.
Deploy best practices across the plant with the Quality team.
Drive License to Inspect Program – certify operators.
Build quality culture through awareness, discipline & operator training.
Perform capability mapping & stabilize processes to meet customer needs.
Collaborate with CFT teams for CoNQ (Cost of Non-Quality) reduction.
Implement CRA, PFMEA risk controls, Hidden Factor Analysis & Zero Defect actions.
Analyze repetitive deviations & implement robust solutions.
Ensure Right First Time quality through troubleshooting procedures.
Update quality documents & channel handbook after process changes.

MSA outcomes
Required CompetenciesKnowledge of manufacturing processes (Lean, Kaizen, 5S)
Familiarity with Quality standards (ISO / IATF)
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively
Understanding of statistical tools: SPC, MSA, Process Capability
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Candidate Profile3+ years relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering
Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt
