Job Title: Catering Manager
Job Summary:
The Catering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing catering operations to ensure high-quality food service and customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing menu planning, coordinating staff, maintaining budgets, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and delivering exceptional service for events and daily catering requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and deliver catering services for events, corporate functions, and daily operations.
Develop and customize menus in consultation with clients while balancing quality, cost, and presentation.
Manage and train catering staff, assign duties, and ensure smooth workflow during events.
Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to source food, beverages, and equipment at competitive prices.
Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service to maintain high standards.
Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of catering events.
Maintain records of sales, expenses, inventory, and client contracts.
