Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in PLC and HMI programming, particularly with Mitsubishi and Siemens systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial automation projects and preferably exposure to vision inspection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems (Mitsubishi & Siemens).
• Lead and support automation projects from concept to commissioning.
• Integrate and optimize vision inspection systems (preferred).
• Collaborate with design, electrical, and mechanical teams for system integration.
• Provide on-site and remote support during installation, testing, and maintenance.
• Document control logic, programming, and modifications.
Required Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Expertise in Mitsubishi and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation architecture and control systems.
• Understanding of vision inspection systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, etc.) – an added advantage.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs.
Preferred Qualities:
• Problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach.
• Ability to work independently and lead field commissioning.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
