Key Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal, Welding, Press/Forming processes, with sound understanding of priming and plating.
Ability to identify internal & external customer needs and address them effectively with suppliers.
Ensure strict adherence to systems, procedures, and quality standards.
Skilled in issue analysis (internal & field) and driving corrective actions at supplier end.
Problem-solving & continuous improvement using statistical tools; focus on PPM reduction.
Preparation & presentation of MIS reports for senior management.
Support and encourage suppliers to achieve ISO/TS Quality Management System accreditation.
Ensure execution of location targets as per agreed project/quality plans.
Conduct supplier audits and recommend process improvements to achieve desired quality levels.
Manage VPPAP approval for new development components (alternate sources, new products, irritant groups).
Ensure first-time-right & consistent product quality.
Evaluate and develop new suppliers.
