Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve sales targets and market share growth.
Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and B2B customers (contractors, builders, architects, etc.).
Manage relationships with existing channel partners and ensure optimal product visibility and availability.
Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor product performance and support customer needs.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and product launches.
Provide timely sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to senior management.
Ensure collections and credit control within the territory as per company norms.
Train and support distributor sales teams on product knowledge and sales technique
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
8–10 years of sales experience in the building materials industry (e.g., cement, steel, paints, tiles, plumbing, construction chemicals, etc.).
Proven experience managing a sales territory or region.
Strong network among dealers, contractors, and influencers in the construction ecosystem.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned area.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
